Velo Cafe Huahin is a 100% locally owned business, founded in 2013. The café has expanded to include a roastery
and an additional coffee shop under the name Rock n’ Roast. The company is committed to sustainability and
environmental responsibility. Velo Cafe was the first café in Thailand to officially use aluminum cans as primary
packaging, combined with paper straws, reducing over 400,000 pieces of plastic waste annually. Over 85% of
delivery packaging is recyclable and biodegradable, and biodegradable plastic bags are used to prevent microplastics.
Back-office operations and the roastery are powered by 100% solar energy, accounting for approximately 60% of
total energy consumption. An ESP smoke filtration system reduces smoke emissions by up to 98%. Velo Cafe also
employs high-efficiency coffee brewing equipment and remains the only café in Hua Hin to maintain this standard
across all branches, ensuring consistent quality and sustainable practices.
